April is around the corner. The pressure is building. Stakes are high.
Only three weeks remain for fantasy general managers in NBA Fantasy — Salary Cap Edition to attempt to ascend the leaderboards of their respective leagues. However, there’s still time for success.
Here’s your essential guide as you enter Week 23:
What Happened Last Week
The Oklahoma City Thunder (56-15) are making waves again as they approach the postseason. They’ve won 11 straight games and 16 of their last 18 contests. This impressive run has given them a three-game cushion for first place in the Western Conference.
Fantasy managers with Thunder players on their rosters can also reap the rewards. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is having a stellar performance, averaging 61.8 fantasy points per game (FPPG) over his last six games, ranking him sixth with 3,299 total fantasy points (TFP).
Beyond the reigning MVP, Chet Holmgren and Ajay Mitchell are contributing as well. They’ve recorded 32.2 FPPG and 26.2 FPPG respectively in their last five outings. Gilgeous-Alexander commands a team-high salary of $18.6M, while Holmgren sits at $13.5M and Mitchell at $4.6M.
Standout Performances
Luka Dončić showcased an incredible performance that the Lakers’ fans haven’t witnessed in years. He amassed 88 fantasy points in a 134-126 victory over the Miami Heat (38-33). Along with scoring 60 points, he added seven rebounds, three assists, and five steals. This was the highest score by a Laker since Kobe Bryant’s final game in 2016. Dončić now averages 64.5 FPPG for the season and posted an impressive 71.2 last week.
Not to be outdone, Nikola Jokić delivered two exceptional performances in the same week, racking up 73 fantasy points in both. First, he achieved this in a 125-118 loss against the Memphis Grizzlies (24-46) and then again in a 128-112 win over the Portland Trail Blazers (35-37). Across those two games, he recorded 51 points, 28 rebounds, 23 assists, four blocks, and three steals, placing him just 156 fantasy points shy of reaching the 4,000 milestone for the 2025-26 season.
Darius Garland, battling a string of injuries, celebrated a milestone in his recent outing. The seventh-year guard scored 72 fantasy points in a thrilling 138-131 overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks (23-48), contributing 41 points, three rebounds, 11 assists, one block, and one steal—the highest fantasy score of his season. Since his trade to the LA Clippers, Garland has averaged 41.4 FPPG over nine games.

If you’re aiming to win your league or gain an edge as the season concludes, check out the global leaders for inspiration. Adam Boustani’s “Dima Maghreb” sits at the top with 28,647 TFP, closely followed by Jack Bones’ “Peace and Love” at 28,576 and Ezra Tsegaye’s “colesaidimdreamville” at 28,370.
